We're afraid we have some terribly sad news to tell you. About  2 weeks ago poor old Tully was diagnosed as having a cancer. He had been receiving treatment for this in the form of chemotherapy but tragically he reached a crisis point yesterday when it became necessary to intervene and put an end to him suffering any more discomfort.

It was a heartbreaking decision to make but in these  circumstances there are sometimes no other humane options available. He died peacefully at home while being cuddled . Pat and I have now said our goodbyes to him and he is buried in a sunny corner of the garden which was one of his favourite spots.

Our sense of loss at losing poor Tully is overwhelming for in spite of him being one of the finest examples of the Bulldog we have ever seen, he was also, a much loved and important member of our household.

Since we first bred him he has always lived in the house with us and though it may sound strange to some people we considered him like family or a best friend. We often talked to him as if he understood all we were saying and will greatly miss his gentle ways and loving nature. He may be gone but our memories of him will last forever.
